Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information E. M. C. Information Technology Services collects when you buy or use our Wi-Fi vouchers, and how we handle it, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

1. Information we collect

Mobile number - when you buy a voucher online, to send your voucher by SMS and to help with support.
Device information - the network (MAC) address and IP address of the device that connects to our hotspot, to deliver your voucher to the correct device and to prevent abuse.
Transaction records - the amount, date and time, payment reference, and status of each purchase.
Messages you send us - such as an email or call to customer service.

We do not receive or store your card number, e-wallet PIN, or login. Those are handled by our payment processor.

2. How we use it

To sell and deliver vouchers and to confirm your payment.
To provide customer support, including refunds under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
To keep the network secure and prevent fraud or misuse.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only with service providers we need to run the service, and only what they need:

PayMongo - payment processing.
Semaphore (SMS provider) - to send your voucher link to your mobile number.
Cloud hosting provider - our systems run on rented servers.

We may also disclose information when required by law or a lawful order.

4. How long we keep it

Transaction and support records are kept for 2 years and then deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

5. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No system is completely secure, and we will notify affected people and the National Privacy Commission where the law requires.

6. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or trackers.

The voucher claim page you reach after paying online uses one strictly necessary cookie. It is a secure, HTTP-only cookie that lets you re-open and reveal your voucher from the same browser after you pay. It is not used for advertising or tracking. You can delete it in your browser settings, but you may then be unable to re-open your voucher from that browser.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal limits. To make a request, email emcinfotechservices@gmail.com. If you believe your rights were violated, you may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

8. Changes and contact
